Date of Birth: January 23 1966

  • I am born and raised on the island Seløy in Herøy municipality, on the Helgeland coast in northern Norway.
  • I wanted to be a veterinarian, but dropped out and went to a gardening school instead, and afterwards got an intern job in a gardener firm in the capital Oslo afterwards. This was the start of my career and life passion.
  • I became the Oslo Junior Champion in floristry on my first try in 1987.
  • I started my first store in 1993 on the west side of Oslo. Eventually I had two stores in the capital.
  • In 2000 I wanted to do something else for a while, and worked as freelancer at home and abroad, before I moved back home to northern Norway in 2010.
  • On the 1st of April 2011 I opened my shop “Etcetera” in Herøy, and have been there since then.
